Our Founder & Director, Lakshmi, has always taken a keen interest in writing since childhood, and at some point during her late teens, decided to begin writing fashion blog, covering several fashion weeks across the world. This went on for a while, and she thoroughly enjoyed every moment. But at some point she realized she loved movies too, and was fascinated by the idea of combining both. While attending film festivals, she was introduced to members of the film world, who greatly inspired her to begin writing critical reviews. One person’s opinion might not matter much, or for that matter, even be considered relevant. However, she intended to just put her thoughts into words.
When deciding to formally start a website, she opted to name it, using the name her close friends called her by- Lash.
